... "I told you, Ventus, to stay away from Namine." The other blonde scowled. "We're just friends, Roxas. Why can't you accept that?!" "I saw you flirting with her, and don't deny that happening." Roxas summoned his two keyblades. "So, I warn you one last time. Stay away..." He got into a battle stance. "From Namine." Ventus looked at Roxas, his cold gaze unwavering. "Roxas, I don't want to fight you. But I really believe that if Namine is my good friend, then I should be able to spend time with her. I'm asking you right now to disarm yourself so we can talk this out like gentlemen." Roxas dashed at the other blonde. Ventus brought his hands up before his face and squeezed his eyes shut, waiting for the blow that was sure to come. But it never did. Instead came a shaky but gentle voice. "Ven...Roxas..." Ventus opened his eyes to see Namine standing there, back to Roxas, taking the blind blow that Ventus was to receive. Blood was streaming down her back, eyes streaming with pained tears. "Stop it, Roxas! It's not me your hurting!!" Ventus screamed when he saw this. The veil cleared from Roxas's eyes. "Namine!" The nobody removed his keyblade from Namine's back. She crumpled to the ground, and both of the others rushed to her side. "Back up. I'm alright." They did, and she stood up, glaring at the both of them. "I appreciate the flattery, but I have a mind of my own, you know." "But, Namine---" Roxas sputtered. "But nothing, Roxas. You should've taken up Ventus's offer on settling this without a fight." The male nobody looked at the ground. "Look, I know you were just trying to protect me, but we need to meet each other halfway. I'm able to make my own decisions, Roxas. I'm not a little girl." They both stood silent, stunned at how independant she sounded. "I'm going to make the decicion right here and now." Roxas was set aback. "What decision?" "The decision between you two." Both males had pained looks on their faces. Who was she going to choose? "I choose..."
